Private: Linux System Administrator
G2 Technology is looking for a Linux System Administrator for a permanent position in Memphis, Tennessee. This is an exciting role as you will be able to work with a growing company using advanced technologies. In this position, you will have increasing levels of exposure to cloud-based infrastructures and the opportunity to increase your skill-set in database technologies. You will help scale-up the organization’s ability to handle increasingly demanding traffic to the servers and databases. The ideal candidate will be required to maintain current versions of Linux, ensure backups are occurring, minimize downtime, Capacity planning, troubleshooting and monitoring the systems.
Requirements:
•BA/BS in Computer Science preferred, or equivalent experience.
•At least 2 years of experience with Linux/UNIX system administration.
•IP networking, including the functionality, operating, and failure modes of networks.
•Proven technical troubleshooting and performance tuning experience.
