Senior Java Developer
G2 Technology has an immediate need for a Sr. Java Developer for a six month contract to hire position. You will have the opportunity to work for one of the largest intermodal marketing company in North America. This position will work closely with another senior developer to design, develop and test web-based java applications in an n-tire computing environment. The winning candidate will have a lead role making all of the design decisions as well as hands on developing. This position pays up to $55/Hour.
Required Skills
• 5 years experience with full development lifecycle in a Web environment using Java, HTML, CSS and Javascript
• 2 years experience with J2EE framework, including JSF, JPA, and JMS
• Experience with AJAX, SOA, EJB3, XML Xpath
• B.S. in Computer Science or similar field
• Experience with WebLogic server, portal, and e-commerce technologies
• Proficient in multi-tasking and managing multiple projects
• Ability to work in a projects-based, team environment
• Proven software design, technical change management, testing, and upgrade/maintenance experience
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Experience writing complex SQL
• Familiarity with Oracle’s Fusion Middleware environments, including Oracle’s Application Development
Nice to have
• Knowledge with PrimeFaces or IceFaces
• Experience with SQLServer, IBM/Informix or DB2/iSeries
• Familiarity with VB Script
• PowerBuilder development experience
• C/Unix development experience
