Project Manager
G2 Technology has an immediate need for a Project Manager for a six month position contract (highly likely to be extended), with one of the most sought after companies in Memphis, TN. This position pays up to $50/ hour. The winning candidate will be managing multiple application development projects within a large organization, as well as creating detailed project status reports, risk assessments, charters and issue logs for management and project team
Required Skills
- Understanding of PMBOK methodology
- Proven experience leading large/multiple projects
- Strong understanding of SDLC
- PMO experience
- Strong understanding of Project Life Cycle and associated deliverables
- Leads all aspects of a project including initiation, planning, monitoring, implementation and closing
- Ability to create, maintain, and track project budgets and perform budget analysis
- Manages vendor relationships including service delivery and overall performance as pertains to assigned projects
- Provide leadership and direction to the project team staff in a matrix environment
- Critical path methodology and change management skills
- Strong Verbal and written communication skills
Nice to have
- Former application developer experience
- Experience using MS project
- PMP certification
- Bachelor’s Degree
