G2 Technology has an immediate need for an Application Development Manager in Memphis, Tennessee. This is not your typical Development Manager position. We are seeking someone that can transform a development environment into a high velocity, forward thinking development team that delivers high-quality software. The winning candidate is likely a former developer, very passionate about development best practices and excited to employ modern techniques such as Test-Driven Development (TDD), Automation, etc. This role is perfectly designed for someone seeking an opportunity to be recognized and grow within a great organization.
You will be responsible for the overall management and leadership of the application development team, including day-to-day production support and ongoing development. You will lead strategic initiatives, hire new employees, conduct code reviews and add to the positive culture on the team. Additionally, you will ensure architecture design and development best practices are in place and followed, as well as change management process guidelines. The position is a permanent position paying between $120,000 and $140,000 base salary plus a 20% bonus, stock options and other forms of compensation.

- SOA experience
- Former Application Development experience
- Large Enterprise Application experience
- Solid Agile and Waterfall knowledge
- Previous leadership / management experience in an SDLC environment
