G2 Technology has an immediate need for a Senior Python Developer. This is a 6 month contract paying up to $60 / hour that is very likely to extend.
In this role, we are seeking a very senior developer that can hit the ground running with strong Python and Django skills. The selected candidate will be a hands-on developer who will help integrate systems into a larger Python-based system while also developing new applications / solutions. The seniority of this candidate will also help inspire and in some cases, lead the team of less experienced developers. Additionally, excellent communication skills, the ability to think, ask questions and be social are required.
* You must work on-site in Memphis but out of town candidates are encouraged to apply
* Corp-to-corp is possible for this role
Experience needed:
- 5+ years experience developing medium to large Python and Django applications
- SQL (MS SQL Server or MySQL preferred)
- Web-based application development experience, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, etc.
- Strong unit test and debugging skills
